At Eco Design, the design phase is the heart of the BIM-driven approach. For the transformation of the former Melfi prison into the new Museum of Innovation and Arts (MIA), our technical office drafted the entire executive project. The work focuses on seismic safety and functional adaptation of the complex, balancing advanced engineering solutions with stringent historic preservation requirements. The design focuses on strengthening the load-bearing structures—walls, vaults, and roofs—to ensure full structural safety while preserving the building's original architectural identity.
